IYBL is now in its 28th Year of providing a competitively balanced basketball league for the boys and girls of Irvine, Fall Grades 3rd to 11th Grade Fall 2008.

Games are played on Sundays in the local HS games beginning in late November and concluding in early March. Games times are from 8 AM until 8 PM at night. You should expect to experience conflicts between games and traditional Sunday activities.

Player registration fees are $180 (Early Bird $155 if paid by Oct 18th 2008).  This fee covers the costs for gym usage (nine to eleven games), officials, uniforms, two team practice balls, team scorebook, insurance and player awards.

Practices are held during the weekdays and on Saturdays. Coaches determine the times and dates that are most suitable to their purposes. If you have some blocked out times and days please be fair to the coaches:  note this information when you come across this question during your registration experience.

Player evaluations will take place on Sunday 10/19 and 10/26. Time and location to be determined. You will be notified via email.

Team Draft day starts Sunday 11/02.  After Nov. 3rd you will be notified by your coach regarding team meeting and practices.

Photo Day is Saturday 12/07. Time and location to be determined. Your coach will notify you.
